Louvignies castle
At the edge of an English-style park, this 19th century castle tells the story of everyday life during the Belle Epoque. From the ironing room with its iron equipment and its wooden calender, to the kitchen with its copper pot set, everything has remained in place. The rooms, too, have kept the scent of the past. Their wardrobes open onto the toilette and frills of the ladies of yesteryear. Come visit this castle and step back in time.
A must see
The park, designed by Fuchs in 1870, lends itself to a pleasant walk among the remarkable hundred-year-old trees whilst offering a visit to the icehouse and the old vegetable garden.
